Step 1: On your Windows PC Desktop, launch the “Play RSGClub” App. Make sure your PC is connected to your preferred wireless network.
Step 2: Launch your desired gameplay mode, Range or Course, from the “Go golfing” tab in the upper left corner
NOTE: The RSG Club app must be launched AND in gameplay (Range or Course) on your PC BEFORE opening the RSG Mobile App
Step 3: Once your PC is on the tee, open your RSG mobile app and select “Play Mode.” Make sure your device is also connected to the same preferred wireless network.
Step 4: Select “Connect to Clubhouse”
Step 5: Verify and complete the four prompts shown below, then select “Test Connection.” In the event your connection fails, restart the app and try again. This is likely due to your app being open before launching the PC gameplay.
Enclosure/Screen Option
Step 6: Select your setup type. Indoors, hitting into a “Solid Surface Screen or Enclosure.” Then select “Let’s Get Started!”
Step 7: Your device will then verify it is functioning properly to deliver the best experience. After verifying, click “Continue”
Step 8 - Setup Intro: The following video tutorial outlines the minimum space requirements for RSG Mobile. This includes:
- A stable tripod that sits 4” - 6” tall
- Approximately 4 feet (1.2 m) from your phone to the ball
- At least 8 feet (2.4 m) from tee to screen
Once you have verified your space meets the requirements, click “Start Setup”
Step 9 - Identifying the Space: Place the ball in your designated hitting zone and identify the proper launch monitor location, approximately 4 feet (1.2 m) behind the ball. Click “Done” to proceed.
Step 10 - Establishing the Tee: Next, we need to identify your hitting plane. Use your device to scan the tee location and the ground between the tee location and impact screen. Select “Got it” and begin to scan your area. Once properly identified, RSG Mobile will automatically proceed to the next step.
Step 11 - Manually Establishing the Marker (Preferred Method): In the event your RSG Mobile app cannot correctly identify the depth of your space, you may need to manually measure and enter this distance. To do so, click the three dots marked in the upper right corner.
Click “Enter Distance”
Then enter your measured distance from your device to your screen then click “Confirm”
Step 12 - Automatically Establishing the Marker: Establishing the proper distance between your mobile device and your impact screen or target is very important for optimizing the RSG Mobile experience. Click “Got It” and begin placing your impact marker in the correct location.
To establish the impact marker, scan the bottom of your screen with your device. When the marker is at the center of your screen, at the intersection of the screen and the floor. Click “Confirm.” Then set your device back in its proper position. The distance from your device to your impact screen should now be automatically identified.
Step 13 - Finalizing the Setup: Your device will now finalize the set up and is ready for play. Follow the audio prompts to place a ball when told to do so.
Hitting Net Option
Step 6: Select your setup type. Indoors, hitting into a “Transparent Practice or Hitting Net.” Then select “Let’s Get Started!”
