Go to the following URL: OptiShot Orion Golf

From that URL, you will see a log in interface similar to the one pictured below:

Click the Sign Up button and create an account.

Once you have completed the sign-up process, you will need to verify your email address through a link sent to your email. After that, you should be able to log into the system with your credentials and finish filling out your profile. 

After completing your profile, you will be taken to the Online Dashboard. You will notice, when you scroll all of the way down, in the bottom left of the screen, there is a button where you can redeem the provided voucher/code that enables you to download Orion Live. 

Other information about your profile can be adjusted from this interface, to include purchasing more coins from the store, seeing your current matches and your previous matches, and joining and participating in club activities. For now, hit the Download button in the “Get the game” section. 

This will initiate a download into your Downloads directory.

After the download is complete, browse to your Downloads directory and open the installer. 

Because this is not being distributed by the Windows store, Windows will not recognize the file and give you a warning about the file. Do not be alarmed – this is expected. You need to click on “More Info” as indicated in the graphic to allow the file to be run. 

After clicking “More Info” you will have the option to “Run Anyway”. Select this option and the software installer will run. 

When the installer is complete, the software will be installed into a folder in your apps called “Play Orion Live”. 

*If you get  an error upon launch about missing or unfound files similar to the image below,

it means that a file is missing from your computer and you will need to run the Redist x64 Installation that is located in your Optishot Golf folder. After running this, the program should start normally. It may also be found here.

Upon launch, you will be asked to log in. You will use the same credentials as you did on https://live.orion.golf

Upon first logging into Orion Live, you will be asked if you want to download all available courses. You should say Yes. If you do not download all of the available courses at this point, you will be limited to one course that comes inside of the installer. If you miss this step, the courses can be downloaded from your profile at the top, under “Courses”. After installing the courses,  you are also encouraged to enable 2 factor authorization to keep your account secure, and to allow you to participate in tournaments and join/create social wagering matches.
