The Nova golf simulator requires a 3-ball calibration setup to ensure accurate performance. Follow these steps carefully to calibrate your device properly.
Steps:
- Launch LMonitor on your computer.
-
Enter Live Mode:
- Select the graphics window (PdGWindow2) and pres '9' on your keyboard.
-
Set Up the Calibration Balls:
- The first ball is your tee location. This should be 72" in front of the middle of the Nova and centered on the target line.
- The second ball is placed 8" closer to the screen in front of the first ball measured from the center of the balls. Please ensure the second ball is also centered on the target line.
- The third ball is placed 4" to the left of the second ball again measured from the center of the balls.
-
Capture the Image:
- Once satisfied with the ball placement, press the Shift and += keys on your keyboard
-
Process the 3-Ball Setup:
- Press the 'v' and then the 'x' keys to perform the 3-ball setup calculations
-
Confirm Success:
- Check the output console for the word "SUCCESS"
-
Remove Excess Balls:
- Take away the front two balls, leaving only the ball at the tee location.
-
Arm the System:
- Press the Spacebar to arm the system on the remaining ball.
-
Verify System Arming:
- Verify the system is armed by checking for rapid updates of the Tee position.
-
Test the Setup:
- Hit a shot to confirm proper calibration. If you see the ball flight captures everything worked.
- Close both windows and you are ready to launch Orion Live and play!
Troubleshooting:
If you don't see "SUCCESS" in step 7 or experience issues with arming the system, double-check your ball placement and Nova positioning. If problems persist, contact our support team for assistance by emailing support@optishotgolf.com
