How the Help & Support "Search" box works

The OptiShot Help & Support site has a Search box at the top of most pages to help you find exactly what you are looking for.

We have two types of Searches within this site. One is global, that is, it will return results from the entire site.
The second is category specific, it will only return results from that category.

On the Search For Answers page you will see 3 categories: OptiShot Help & Support, User's Guide, and Birl Tyke Pub.

• OptiShot Help & Support contains answers to Tech Support questions.
• The User's Guide is a step-by-step walk through the entire OptiShot program.
• Birl Tyke Pub is our User Forum where you can post questions, make Feature Requests and interact with other OptiShot users.

If you click on any of the Category headers you will find yourself on a category page with a list of forums below. On these pages, the Search box at the top of the page will only return results from within that category.

On any other page within the site, the Search box will be global and will return results from the entire site.

If you wish to see how this works, go to the Search For Answers page and type "clubs" into the search box. Notice the search results. They will come from the User's Guide, from Help & Support, and from Birl Tyke Pub as well.

Now, go to the Search For Answers page again, click on the OptiShot Help & Support category title. On that page, type "clubs" into the search box.
Notice, we only return results from the OptiShot Help & Support category.

Finally there is the  Questions? Ask them here! link in the Support Menu to the right and the Help box on the left side of the page. Both of these are global searches and return results from the entire site.
