Sometimes it may be necessary to try to run OptiShot with an outdated or slower video card. In these cases, the software video settings may be lowered. To modify these settings, follow the steps below. Rest assured that even with reduced graphical settings the simulator will still look very good.
- Make sure OptiShot is not running.
- Launch the OptiShot2 software and then go into Practice or Play mode then Settings & Options >> Graphics & Video.
- Make changes to such things as:
- Landscape Quality
- Shadow Quality
- Anti Aliasing
- High Water Quality
- Resolution
- Aspect Ratio
- Click Save and let the software relaunch for the setting to take effect.
If you find that you still have an issue, you will need to upgrade your computer or run the software on a different computer.
