Nice setup. doesn't the light from outside affect your sensors and what happens when you invite a hacker friend over ? Do you protect the windows ? Also , what setting do you use for almost balls as I would imagine at "real ball" setting you might get an inflated clubhead speed ? Do you have the original turf or a thicker one ?

The simulator seems to function fine with the lighting in the room.  The only exception is sometimes when you hit a driver 100+ MPH, it will show something like 65.  This usually only happens once a round a most.  We just take a mulligan because it is obviously wrong.  The windows have screens.  They have been hit a few times but the "almost golf ball" didn't damage the screen/window probably due to it hitting at an angle.  Nothing has been damaged, ever..... even after a Super bowl party!  The sensors get the data from the club head so the ball doesn't matter that I can tell although I have never tried the "real ball" setting.  With a little thought/effort, you should be able to set your profile up to be consistent with your game irregardless of the ball.  On the turf, I am using the Dancin Dogg mats.  They work fine.  When not using a tee, I set the ball right in front of the hole(helps with fat shots trying to dig it out of the tee hole).  It seems to work much better.   My espon wireless projector is awesome.  On a bright day and with all the windows, the image is degraded but if the weather is that nice, I will be outside playing anyway!  When a cloudy and at night, the image is fantastic.   John
